Musical or Play: Every second year we do a musical or play.

November 7-9, 2024: SAS will perform FROZEN Jr. 

ISTA - I.S.T.A. stands for the International School Theater Association. Each year ISTA hosts more than 30 events around the world, bringing together students who are passionate about theater. At each festival, there are professional actors and directors who work with ensembles of 20-24 students and over the course of three days, they build a show. 

April 2024: We will be heading to Beijing China. Auditions to take place late November.

IASIS DRAMA Exchange: For the first time, we will be taking part in a drama exchange with ISKL at the end of January. 30 students, ten from each grade will be selected to participate and go to KL for the weekend. More info to come later. 

Middle School Play/Musical Productions

Every second year we produce either a play or a musical. Past titles have included:

The RED carpet- One of our favorite events at the end of each performance run is the Video Launch Party. Actors, back stage hands, and techies all dress up to attend this gala event. Check out what happened on the Red Carpet last year... LINK

Artist in Residence Program - Each year thanks to generous donations by the PTA and the SAS Foundation, we are able to invite actors and professional artists to our school to work with students during class and in after-school and weekend workshops. This program is open to drama and non-drama students and is always free for registration. Visit this LINK to see upcoming events.
