REMINDERS To Actors once the Rehearsals Begin
The schedule will be updated a minimum of one week in advance. We cannot give you a full rehearsal schedule for the entire production as it depends on how fast people learn their parts, when we get the set, props, and costumes and whether we have a lot of absences.
Please be sure to add the calendar to your own calendars. I would recommend looking one week in advance and looking at the details, if the rehearsal is a scene you are working on, then add it to your personal calendar.
Excused absences are given for things on your conflict list and for absences due to sickness.
If you are absent due to illness, be sure to email Ms. Fulcher or have your parents email. Informing the school does not inform your director.
Every actor is only allowed two unexcused absences.
If you miss a second time without warning, you will need to meet with Ms. Fulcher to determine your future in the show.
For those in second season sports, I have your practice times, but if you are missing rehearsal due to a game, please email me as soon as possible. (This are excused absences as long as you let me know in advance.)
If you are a lead and absent, you need to inform Ms. Fulcher and your understudy (once understudies are assigned).
Please come to rehearsal ready to work, with your script, a pencil, highlighter, and water.
No gum or food allowed inside the theaters or any rehearsal space.
Bring homework to rehearsal so that you are using downtime effectively.
Work on lines outside of class. Actors are expected to be "off book" by February month.
For Choreography... Dance rehearsals will be called by dance number. See the list below so you know what number relates to what.
